For music fans who enjoy smooth Soul & R&B with Pop and even some Jazz and Rock stylings, you'd be wise to invest some listening time in NexXzit and their album "No U Turn".

What's especially good about this act is that not only is the musical talent obvious, but that the approach is very fresh. "Say What You Mean" has some smooth grooves and excellent vocals by female singer Marguerite "Margo" Bruce. The chorus of the track is sly and slinky and soothing, but musically there are very tasty, but subtle drum, keyboard, guitar and bass parts that all accent the song and a sweet guitar solo from Michael "Ge'down" Brown doesn't hurt at all.

"The Way I See You" is a seductive R&B number that would do Sade and Anita Baker proud. Strong backing vocal arrangements are very well done and the song goes along smoothly and expressively.

"Familiarity" gets a bit funky, but in a mid-tempo sexy way with some wah-wah guitar, popping bass and percussive accents. Once again, the vocals are outstanding and the choruses sound great. Top notch musically and vocally, well produced and arranged, NexXzit are well worth the visit.

Greatly !!! author: eSOUL Some pieces remind me very strongly at the Longplayer of Naked Music NYC - What's on you at least even the voice of Margo sounds similar as by Ada the Dyer. One is certain. The three let it grooven enormously and crack so correctly with some guitar reef also times. 3 makes that really good and brings all reliably more rueber. This singular disk should one to be escaped not be able. Singular 5 stars!

I gave NexXzit four stars only on a self betterment tip, because I know the Journey doesn't stop here. However the trakk is definitely comin in at 5...U have to have lived and experience how DC GIRLZ permeates the DC culture morphed with the GOGO phenomenon of the past and present. With that being said, Chuck move over and take the NexXzit and recognize...
